The Bench: the app for the person at the machine

The console is built for running a shop — customers, money, reports. It is not what you want open while a racket is clamped in front of you.

The Bench is a separate app for stringing. It installs on a phone like any other app, opens on the queue, and shows one racket at a time: who it belongs to, what they had last, what they asked for. Claim it, string it, mark it done. It keeps working when the network drops, and tells you how old what you are looking at is rather than pretending.

What it doesn't do yet: you cannot take a drop-off in it — new work still starts in the console — and there is no photo capture at the bench.

Try it: open Racketworks on your phone and choose The Bench from the menu.
