Take a card, and give it back
Until now the money left Racketworks at the last step. You logged the work, priced it, handed over the racket — and then took cash, or a payment app, or wrote it on a pad.
A customer can now pay for a restring by card, from the ticket on their own phone. The money goes to your account, not ours. You are the merchant; we are not in the funds path, and we never take a percentage of what you collect — Racketworks makes money on the monthly plan and nothing else.
Refunds reverse on their own. Refund in Stripe and the ticket goes back to unpaid without anyone marking anything, because the reversal comes from Stripe rather than from us remembering to ask.
What it doesn't do yet: it is one payment per ticket, not deposits or part-payments, and there is no in-person card reader — this is a link the customer taps.
Try it: Settings → Payments, connect your account, then open any unpaid ticket.
